Most bag suppliers sell the same standard 12 micron bags everyone else uses. BetterBag runs 14 to 17 micron — up to 42% thicker — specifically built for food service and heavy takeout orders. We also deliver automatically so you never run out, and you can mix sizes in a single order without meeting bulk minimums.
Our bags are made from high density polyethylene, the same material used across the food service industry. The difference is thickness. We run 14 micron on Size S, 15 micron on Size M and 17 micron on Size L. That extra thickness is what stops bags from splitting on heavy orders.
